On 16 October 2026, Professor Mark Compton AM, GCStJ, Lord Prior of The Order of St. John visited several St. John services and youth development initiatives, including the Dental Outreach Team, Yaumati Kaifong Association School Panda Division(St. John Pandas), Munsang Ambulance Cadet Division and Munsang Nursing Cadet Division, and members of the Hong Kong Youth Advisory Network (HKYAN), gaining first-hand insights into St. John's work in community service, youth development and leadership cultivation.
From enhancing oral health for the underprivileged to promoting first aid education and nurturing future leaders, each initiative reflects our enduring commitment to "For the Service of Mankind." In the evening, Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade held the Illumination Ceremony of its historic Tai Hang Road Headquarters, marking the commencement of celebrations for the 110th Anniversary of Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade.
As the Brigade's first headquarters and the starting point of its service journey in Hong Kong, the illuminated building stands as a symbol of our proud heritage and enduring mission. The lights shine not only on a historic landmark, but also on 110 years of dedication, compassion and voluntary service by generations of members.
